For this project I decided to create 20 poems as my narrative. The poem collection will consist of a minimum of twenty poems but that will not be a problem because of my experience with writing poetry. I have written plenty of different poems in the past, many were less than 10 lines but there were some that were more. This narrative will be a print and there will be no audio or visual. This collection will appeal to the many poetry lovers. The audience it will reach will also be young adults and adults because of the appeal of poetry and its different types. Some poems will make the reader laugh at times but also make them satisfied at the imagery that they will be able to see clearly using their imagination. The poetry will be persuasive but also informative. The advertisements in this story will be a poster and advertisements. The first social media that will be used will be a twitter account, a twitter will make it easier to talk about the story and tweets are more easily read by others. Then there will be an Instagram to promote the love aspect of the story and because Instagram post are mostly imagery. It will be easier to act as this is the “life” of the characters and see things from their points of views.

The poems will be a series of different types pf poems that range from humorous to sad, and I will try to include at least 5 different types of poems. These poems main topic will be about Africa and some will be sets that tell a story within the poems.  Although the poems will be diverse they will continue to have the common theme of the continent and will range in importance. Some of my favorite types of poetry will be whimsical silly poems and will be able to reach out to a more varied audience.  I think the most important part of poetry is the amount of imagery that is put in. One a poem has imagery, it makes it easy for the imagination to get to rolling on images. If one writes about colors and sounds then the reader can almost see the word jumping out of the screen and being created right in their head. 

The point of having a strong voice in poetry is creating a purpose for those of us who need a little uplift and encouragement in our life. Poetry is very popular because of its deep connections of words that have such a deep meaning. Powerful subjects make more powerful ideas and that is important. I believe this project will be interesting because of the amount of work that has to be done in order to incorporate all of the details necessary to give the project it s full potential. I am very excited to be able to work freely with my ideas.
